My daughter actually requested this book. The faithful, the foolhardy and this band of friends and familycontinue to try to stand against the entropy of a world that is bothchanging and falling apart at the same time. While I personally didn't have a problem with this, my professor wasn't crazy about the fact that Shugart focuses heavily on models in his ecological discussions as representative of viable and accurate means of identifying and predicting species location, interaction, behavior, etc. I learnt quite a few new details about the Mirage III and the Six-Day War in this book, which I had not come across in thicker tomes about the air war in the Middle East.
