I liked seeing the different side of the Yvonne/Dyre character and how the author explored not just differences but what was at the hear to Y/D a girl who had been tricked and just wanted what we all want that connection with another person. The book is fine - has plenty of clear photos, color photos, line drawings. Imagination is rampant and the stories resolve well. Cannon Arrington has pushed aside a social life to dedicate his time to medical school, extracurricular activities, and helping others … that is, until he lays his eyes on the angelic face of Yasmine Dubose. This makes him feel ashamed and lonesome. More than the story of a person, this is the story of an age; the story of a man who saw that he could change his world for the better .
